What the evidence shows

Clinical research backs every part of our architecture.

YapHealth is engineered against the literature on AI-mediated patient engagement. Every component — the daily Pal, the Smart Ring, the predictive scheduling, the multilingual delivery — maps to a peer-reviewed result. Our pilots will surface our own numbers. These show why the architecture works.

1
↓30%
Re-hospitalization & ER visits

Daily check-ins close the post-discharge gap.

The post-discharge window is where adherence collapses — 1 in 5 patients experience an adverse event, a third of which are preventable. Relational AI agents run by Northeastern at Boston Medical Center cut readmissions by 30% across 750 patients.

2
89.7%
Medication adherence

Verification, not just reminders.

Pill counts lie. AI-mediated visual verification (AiCure, Phase 2 schizophrenia trial) achieved 89.7% mean cumulative adherence vs. 71.9% under modified directly observed therapy — and 100% of samples in therapeutic range vs. 50%.

3
↓50.7%
Missed appointments

Predictive, behaviorally-tuned scheduling.

Rule-based reminders treat every patient the same. AI no-show prediction at Emirates Health Services cut missed appointments by 50.7% over three months — recovering 6,000+ hours of clinical time and shortening average wait time by 5.7 minutes.

4
↓14.2mmHg
Systolic BP at 24 weeks

The Smart Ring + AI Pal pattern, validated.

An AI coaching program paired with a wearable BP monitor reduced systolic blood pressure by 14.2 mmHg in stage-2 hypertensives over 24 weeks. Adherence was >90%; clinician intervention was required for <6% of participants.

2.Bain et al., Use of a Novel Artificial Intelligence Platform on Mobile Devices to Assess Dosing Compliance, AiCure Phase 2 schizophrenia clinical trial.
3.Emirates Health Services, Real-Time Analytics and AI for Managing No-Show Appointments in Primary Health Care, 3-month implementation.
4.AI Coaching + Wearable Blood Pressure Monitoring Study, 141 adults with uncontrolled hypertension, 24-week non-randomized real-world evidence.

All figures cited reference independent peer-reviewed research, not YapHealth pilot data. YapHealth is engineered against this evidence base. Our own outcomes will be reported as pilots complete and are subject to institutional review.

Built APAC-first

Their language. Not a translation.

Most digital health platforms are built English-first and localized later. YapHealth was built APAC-first. Members get native voice, native script, and culturally-grounded conversation — across the seven primary languages of the Asia-Pacific.

Who it's for

Three institutions. One predictive layer.

YapHealth deploys for institutional partners across APAC and beyond. The architecture is the same; the value to your team depends on where you sit in the care chain.

YapHealth AI Pal — your personal health companion
Yours will look different. Members shape appearance, voice, and personality.
The AI Pal

A Pal who shows up — built around you.

Members don't pick a preset. They craft their Pal — appearance, voice, personality, daily rhythm — through a story-based bonding ritual at first use.

From there, the Pal grows with them. Conversations, biometric signals from the Smart Ring, and life events deepen the Pal's understanding through Graph Memory. Every 30 days, the Pal recalibrates. The longer a member stays, the more attuned the relationship becomes.

The architecture is grounded in Northeastern University's embodied conversational agent program — the foundational clinical work on relational AI. In a 750-patient RCT at Boston Medical Center, patients who interacted with a relational virtual nurse showed a 30% reduction in readmissions and a 100% increase in daily walking versus standard discharge.1

FAQ

Common questions from prospective partners.

The questions hospital, HMO, and insurer teams ask in the first 30 minutes. If yours isn't here, ask in the demo.

01
How long does deployment take?
Most partners are live in 60 to 90 days. YapHealth integrates with your member system through standard healthcare APIs, with a phased rollout from license signing to outcomes-live in your dashboard.
02
What's the pricing model?
Per-member-per-month licensing with volume tiers. Pilot programs are available for most partner sizes — typically a 90-day pilot with a defined member cohort. Contact us for a partnership-specific quote.
03
Is the Smart Ring a medical device?
No. The Smart Ring is a wellness-grade wearable that tracks continuous wellness signals — heart rate, HRV, sleep, recovery, body temperature — for informational use only. YapHealth is a wellness and engagement platform, not a diagnostic tool.
04
What languages do you support?
15+ languages with native voice across all. Deep APAC coverage — Filipino, Malay, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, plus regional dialects within each. Additional coverage for European and MENA markets includes Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, and Arabic.
05
What clinical evidence backs the architecture?
YapHealth is engineered against 15+ years of peer-reviewed research on AI-mediated patient engagement. Cited literature includes Northeastern University's virtual nurse RCT at Boston Medical Center (30% readmission reduction), AiCure's pharmacokinetic adherence work (89.7% adherence), Emirates Health Services' AI no-show prediction (50.7% reduction), and AI-coached hypertension trials (14.2 mmHg systolic reduction at 24 weeks). Our own pilot data is reported as it lands.
06
Where is data stored, and how is privacy handled?
Region-specific data residency — we host in-region for partners that require it. HIPAA-ready architecture with BAA available on request. The Graph Memory layer is HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II certified, where member context is stored. Aligned to the Philippines Data Privacy Act for APAC operations. Full compliance attestations available under NDA.
